Decarbonisation Roadmap

A decarbonisation plan is only as good as the number underneath it.

Most roadmaps begin with a target and work backwards. This one begins with the waste already visible in your own operating history, priced per hour and attributed to a specific fault. That is a shorter path to a number that survives scrutiny.

How to build one from what the engine already knows.

Start from measured waste, not a target

The engine already prices excess steam per hour and names the fault driving it. Ranked over a period of history, that is an abatement list with costs attached — derived from your plant rather than from a benchmark of somebody else's.

For capture plants, the denominator is tonnes captured

Reboiler duty per tonne of CO₂ captured is what decides cost per tonne, and therefore whether a capture project stands up at all. Same measurement as gas sweetening, different denominator, much higher stakes.

For sweetening, count the steam you did not burn

The reduction you can legitimately claim is the emissions behind avoided steam. Apply your own site emission factor to the steam saved. We will not supply a factor, because the honest one depends on how your utilities are fired.

Circularity belongs in the same plan

Solvent lifetime, reclaimer waste and filter consumption are all priced consequences of diagnosable faults. A roadmap that counts only tonnes of CO₂ misses the amine you did not have to buy and the waste you did not have to dispose of.

What we provide is the measured basis a roadmap needs — where energy is being lost, why, and what it costs. Turning that into a certified reduction is work for your energy team and your verifier, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling a slide deck.
